Family Strengthening & Youth Development

As the Community Foundation of Hancock County, we host many funds that cover a wide range of causes and needs within our community. 

Boys and Girls Club of Hancock County, Inc. Fund

The Boys and Girls Club Endowment is an operating fund established to provide perpetual financial assistance to the organization. Its goal is to fulfill the mission of providing character-building experiences for the youth of Hancock County through educational and recreational activities.

Brody Strong – A Charitable Fund in Memory of Brody Stephens

Established in memory of Brody Stephens, this fund provides perpetual funding to Southern Hancock Elementary Schools. It helps offset costs related to youth sports, including uniforms, equipment, and participation fees required by elementary students in need.

Hancock County 4-H Agricultural Association, Inc. Fund

This fund provides perpetual operating income to the Hancock County 4-H Agricultural Association. Its mission is to support 4-H youth and the Hancock County 4-H Fair.

Mayor Richard J. Pasco Youth Citizenship Fund

Created in memory of Mayor Richard Pasco, this fund supports organizations with youth programs that emphasize civility, service, and civic engagement. It aims to honor his legacy of public service.

Monica A. Kucan Memorial Endowment Fund

Established by her family, this fund memorializes Monica Kucan’s vision of offering social skills instruction to students across the county. The fund supports the Building Our Social Skills Program (BOSS), which promotes communication, group participation, conflict management, and other essential skills. The program is provided by Families United for Support and Encouragement (FUSE), where Monica served as a board member.

Nameless Creek Youth Camp, Inc. Fund

The Nameless Creek Youth Camp, Inc. Endowment provides financial support for the organization’s operations and capital improvements. Its mission is to create outdoor recreational and camping opportunities to increase the appreciation of nature and the enjoyment of the outdoors and outdoor sports for Greenfield, Hancock County, and the surrounding counties.

Strong Families and Youth Fund

As a member of CFHC’s Spirit of Community fund family, this fund supports programs that proactively strengthen and enhance the well-being of youth and families in Hancock County.

W. H. and Lola Reason Endowment for Patriotism Fund

Established to celebrate the lives of William and Lola Reason, this fund supports programs and initiatives to educate the youth of Hancock County about the sacrifices made by men and women in protecting the United States during World War II.
