Angela is the Research and Evaluation Director for the Indiana Department of Child Services. She was formerly Crisis Text Line’s first ever Grants Manager. They are a national non-profit. In 18 months, she raised $32 million for them. She also worked as the Overdose Data to Action Grant Coordinator for Marion County (where she was also an Epidemiology Manager) and she previously worked as the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System Coordinator at the Indiana Department of Health (where she was also the Data Analysis Team Director within the Epidemiology Resource Center).
Her experience with grants is primarily with federal funding (SAMHSA and CDC grants), but she has also won grants from professional organizations as well as an innovation award. She has also had a good success rate with creating proposals for speaking engagements at conferences.
