The Forever Hancock Community Development Fund was created by CFHC. This comprehensive, unrestricted fund addresses a broad range of needs, including future needs that often cannot be anticipated at the time a gift is made. Community Development Funds help support long-term solutions; respond quickly to emergencies; and meet changing social, cultural, educational, and environmental needs in our local community.

For a limited time, and thanks to a grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. (LEI), your gifts will be tripled when donated to a community development fund. The matching period ends December 31, 2025, or until matching grant resources are exhausted…whichever comes first.  Our community needs to secure every dollar of LEI’s matching grant for positive community impact FOREVER. Your generosity will ensure that CFHC secures the full grant on Hancock County’s behalf. Securing this matching grant of $1.375 million will grow grantmaking resources by over $75,000 per year, every year. For more information about this matching opportunity, visit: https://celebratehancock.org/giftviii/. CFHC provides philanthropic leadership by encouraging giving, learning, community pride, and civic engagement. Working with caring individuals, families, and organizations to create or grow existing permanent endowment funds is critical to the organization’s mission. These funds generate income that is distributed in the form of grants and scholarships to enrich and enhance life in Hancock County, as well as support the donor’s favorite charitable causes, both at home and afar forever. CFHC has granted millions of dollars since its inception in 1992.
